Day by day, more and more fraud is occurring in the financial sector, whether it’s in investments, insurance, or banking. That’s why financial literacy is more important than ever. You need to be able to find and limit the sources of incoming information to only trustworthy ones. One of the best ways I know of to access accurate sources of information on personal finance is through well-reviewed books. Through books, we can learn about a person’s life experiences and apply them to our own lives to avoid things that have the potential to harm us in the future. For those who are new to my blog, I’m Michelle and I started this site to compile the best list of books on personal finance after my family went through a personal tragedy that caused us to go into debt. 1. Unlimited Wealth
This book is good for building a basic foundation so that we understand the foundation and urgency of studying personal finance. This book is complete with directions and guidelines on the do’s and don’ts to have good finances. The Unlimited Wealth book was the first book written by a successful property entrepreneur who was then 21 years old.

2. Financial Revolution
This book completes the foundation of our thinking about how we think about money. This book explains reasonable ways how an employee can increase his salary three times in one year. Then how the hell do we make money while we sleep? This book, written in 2005 by the best success coaches, is worth reading.

3. Rich Dad, Poor Dad
What does the rich teach their children and do not exist in the middle class and poor families? That is more or less the main topic of this book. This 1997 book, written by an American-Japanese author, emphasizes the importance of financial education and building assets. The message is clear, not working for money, but working for assets.

4. Rich Game: How To Get Rich With Investment
Want to learn finance while playing? Maybe this book is the only choice in Indonesia. The first book was published by a Master Financial Planner. He himself has been in the financial world since 1994. In this book, he clearly reveals the easy way to get rich, namely through investment. Everything is written in this book, the addition is a board game that we can use as a simulation to practice the contents of this book.

5. Credit Card Revolution
Credit cards are the favorite debt instrument of the Indonesian people, but unfortunately, there is no education about the ways and rules of the game in getting into debt with a credit card. In this book, we will learn from the history of credit cards, the rules of the game, to credit cards for investment.

These are five books that can be used to improve our financial understanding. Indeed, we will not immediately avoid financial fraud, but at least we know the characteristics and know what to do to avoid fraud.
